· The Institute of High Energy Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences collaborates with Brazil's National Center for Energy and Materials Research.
The strategic role of technological innovation in the economic development and economic competitiveness of the two countries
At the invitation of the President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, the President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, paid a State Visit to China between 12 and 15 April 2023.
In the Joint Communiqué between the Federative Republic of Brazil and the People’s Republic of China on the Deepening of their Global Strategic Partnership, Both sides recognized the strategic role of scientific and technological innovation in the economic development and economic competitiveness of the two countries. Both sides pointed out that bilateral cooperation is a key means to achieve the goals. In view of this, both sides decided to cooperate closely in the fields of E-commerce, low-carbon economy, digital economy, and information and communication technology, etc. Both sides agreed to encourage interaction between the two countries' entrepreneurial ecosystems, establish joint research, development and innovation centers, and cooperate to carry out related projects.

During the Forum, the events related to the 4th China-Brazil Innovation Week, such as the 1st China-Brazil Nanotechnology Seminar, will be held to jointly explore new paths of industry, university and research cooperation between the two sides.
