Interpretation

The integrated circuit industry has a history of about 60 years and has been developing at a   high speed. Gordon Moore, co-founder of Intel, predicted that the number and performance of components in the integrated circuit would approximately double every 18-24 months at the same price. However, with the increasing integration of chips, scientists from academia and industry around the world are facing growing technical challenges. Therefore, it is necessary to develop new technologies, processes or new materials to further enhance the   performance and density of transistors. The forum aims to gather and share the latest research results of the world's top scientists in the new-generation integrated circuit innovation and to explore into the disruptive trend of the advanced IC technology development. The Yangtze River   Delta region has China's most advanced integrated circuit technologies as well as the most complete industrial chain. We’ve been considering how to echo the national strategies and give full play to the advantages of industrial integration. The cooperation of enterprises, universities and   research institutes is essential to promote the innovation and development of   Micro-Nano electronics in China, and contribute constructive advice to Shanghai’s growing into a globally influential center of science and technology innovation.
