Interpretation

Microbes are no strangers to human beings. However, recent advances and innovations in many areas, such as big data science and gene editing technologies, are revolutionizing and redefining our understanding of microbiota, such as gut flora, making the field a hot contestant for a future Nobel Prize. In this Future Science Forum, leading experts in   interdisciplinary research of microbiota are invited to discuss the far-reaching influence and broad application prospects of microbiota on topics ranging from human health and diseases to the environment.
